Compensation & Incentive Study for MENA
The MENA Startup Compensation & Incentives Report provides the first fact-based overview of how early, mid, and late-stage startups across the region structure salaries and long-term incentive plans (LTIPs). Developed by Willis Towers Watson (WTW), the study addresses a major data gap by benchmarking regional practices-such as ESOP pool sizes, vesting patterns, and grant frequency-against global standards. Drawing on confidential data from startups in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the wider MENA region, the report offers insight to help founders, boards, and investors design competitive and sustainable compensation models that attract and retain top talent. Special thanks to the participating startups, investors, and ecosystem partners whose contributions made this report possible.
